Continuing our program researching ethnic groups and diasporas across the United States, building contacts with their leaders and expanding cooperation.
AOWD develops cultural, humanitarian, and memorial initiatives that support dialogue, dignity, and cooperation across communities.
The Assembly of the World Diasporas develops and supports humanitarian, cultural, educational, community and international-cooperation initiatives designed to strengthen relationships among communities and improve the quality of life for people around the world.
Our projects focus on humanitarian assistance, cultural preservation, interfaith dialogue, youth engagement, international cooperation, educational development, community leadership, and the promotion of tolerance and understanding among diverse populations.
Working together with partners across the United States and internationally, we continue to expand programs that create lasting impact and meaningful opportunities for future generations.

Supporting the creation of the Memorial Garden in Queens, New York, according to our concept and design. We work with city leaders to honor the victims and the heroes.

Continuing humanitarian and charitable assistance to medical institutions across Ukraine.

Helping partners find business opportunities, build strategic contacts and cross-border cooperation, access institutional resources, enter new markets and form partnerships — including for Ukrainian companies.

A community club built on four pillars: Medicine, Art, Music and Advocacy.

Organizing meetings of community leaders with local, state and federal officials and ICE representatives, as well as elected officials and candidates.

A children’s summer camp at the Ukrainian Cultural Center of St. Andrew’s Church in Bloomingdale.

Organizing community events for the children of diaspora communities.

Diaspora football tournaments — the Freedom Cup and Independence Cup — featuring the Ukrainian and Uzbek communities.

A New York State delegation visit to Argentina — meetings with community leaders and Buenos Aires and state officials, and an appearance on Argentine ethnic radio.
AOWD collaborates with diaspora organizations, cultural institutions, and civic groups to develop joint humanitarian and cultural initiatives.
